CONSULTATION FEES

We recommend you register your bank details with Medicare so that when your payment is processed at the practice, details can be sent directly to Medicare. You will then have your rebate directly credited to your bank account, usually within one or two days.

Standard consultation fees: 
A standard GP consultation lasting up to 20 minutes is $89.00. Medicare rebate for a standard consultation is $42.85.
​We can usually arrange for direct transfer of the Medicare refund back to your nominated bank account at reception. 
Longer consultations, procedures and operations attract higher fees as do all travel vaccinations and any special services.
A standard skin check appointment incurs a fee of $99.00. A long skin check appointment incurs a fee of $157.

A higher fee is applicable after 6pm and on Saturdays.

We are also able to schedule longer appointments for more complex problems, including 30 minute and 45 minute consultations. Reception staff can provide you with current fees for all services including longer consultations, treatment room procedures, wound dressings, skin checks, counselling, chronic disease plans and health checks.

Telehealth consultations only attract MBS rebate if you have consulted a doctor at our practice within the last 12 months and are only able to be booked as standard length appointments. If you require a long appointment, please book an in person or video consultation.

Children: 
There is no out of pocket fee for children aged 1 year and younger on week-days before 6pm.  From their second birthday, there will be a fee with an out of pocket gap of $25.00 incurred for visits. From their fifth birthday, our normal billing schedule applies.
Full fee applies on week-ends or weekdays from 6pm with medicare rebates applicable for all ages.

Pensioners:
Aged and disability pensioners pay a minimum fee on week-days with out of pocket expenses capped at $25.00 per consultation from Monday to Friday before 6pm. On weekends and after 6pm the full private fee is charged.

Health care and concession cardholders:
Health care card holders pay a discounted fee on week-days before 6pm. On weekends, after 6pm and for skin check appointments, the full private fee is charged.

Veterans:
Veterans and DVA Card Holders are directly billed through a DVA service voucher. There is no out of pocket charge.

All fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash or selected credit cards including MasterCard and Visa or via EFTPOS. 
Doctors are independent contractors and are free to set their own fees.
