In the challenging times of the Coronavirus Pandemic we made changes to the way we practice so we can continue to provide safe, high quality medical care for our community by providing telephone or video consultations to all appropriate patients.

These consultations are privately billed. If you have presented to the practice for an in person consultation within the past twelve months, you will be entitled to a medicare rebate that our receptionists can process for you upon payment of your invoice.

We are committed to providing informed financial consent for all consultations and Medicare requires that you provide consent. If you are unsure about the published fees or billing for Telehealth, please ask reception or ask your doctor. Telephone/video consultations can be booked under Telehealth on our online booking system or by calling reception.

Springwood General Practice offers medical care, health advice and counselling as well as prescriptions, pathology and radiology tests and monitoring of chronic diseases via Telehealth consultations.  We also provide General Practice Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements for Allied Health visits, Mental Health Care Plans and other health assessments via Telehealth.

All regular GP services can be offered in our full service practice consultations and this particularly important where examination is necessary or more complex services are required.

All of our doctors are also available for face to face consultations.
